For the components and the sub components, any number of versions can be defined. These versions can then be used as the target versions for the change-requests.

The versions can be created by using the functionality “New Document” in the element versions.

A new form of the type component-version with the pre-populated number and the associated component is opened.

After the definition of the first version (here version 1.0) and saving the data record …

… further versions can be created by using the function “New Document from template”.

If all the planned versions of the components are created, the versions can be closed.

These versions can now be used for example in the context of release-planning, as the target versions for the change-request.
