Version 2.6 is the first version to be delivered with the workflow engine from Projectile, which is based on OSWorkflow and is part of the basic version. This basic module has been improved in versions 2.7 and 2.9. Using the workflow engine, existing project workflows and standard workflows can be adjusted and monitored (feedback of tracking and recording, absence requests, travel cost approval, …).

In the workflow configuration files (administration - system configuration - workflow) settings can be stored e.g. which user should be notified about certain events and/or from whom an approval is required.
