The “Vehicle” form administers the automobiles within System. The automobiles will be issued an owner/user and an appointment for inspection. The automobiles are needed for transportation billing.

The form contains the following elements:

• Vehicle Registration Number: The alphanumeric field “Vehicle Registration Number” specifies the distinct type of vehicle used for the journey.
• Employee: In the field “Owner/User” the owner/user for the corresponding vehicle will be designated. Only the employees entered and listed in System come into consideration for this field. (see also form Employee)
• Brand: This field specifies the model of the car.
• Internal Kilometer Rate: The vehicle-specified vehicle costs per kilometer can be entered here. These costs are used for internal costing. If this field is not filled, the km-flat rate is used from the Configuration for the costing.
• External Kilometer Rate: The vehicle-specified rates for the calculation per kilometer are entered here. If this field is not filled, the km-flatrate from the configuration form will be used for the costing.
• Date of First Registration: In the field “Date of First Registration” the date of first registration will be entered. From this the system calculates the expiration date of the emmission's test (ASU) and of the technical inspection (TÜV) automatically.
• Emmission's Test (ASU) and Technical Inspection's Test (TÜV): In both fields the date of the emmission's test and the date of the technical inspection are specified. On the basis of the first date of registration, the fields for “Emmission's Test (ASU) and Technical Inspection's Test (TÜV)” in accordance with the lawful regulated specifications, are set by default automatically from the System.
• Vehicle Registration Document: This field administers the information within the car's registration papers.
• Comments: This field is designated for comments.
