2.01.08 Sales Taxes

The mask sales tax manages the percentages for the country-specific sales tax. These rates are used for quotations and invoices (see also Offer and invoice). In addition, these rates are important for entering receipts in the Data Entry Module.

This document consists of these elements:

• Name: Here you can name the sales tax.
• Valid From: This date marks the validity date of the sales tax rate. If the sales tax changes during the course of the project, both tax rates (depending on the date) are taken into account.
• Description: The field description enables the description of the sales tax and has an informal character.
• Country: This field assigns the sales tax to a country that is valid there. The countries can be defined and changed in the collections. In the system, the sales tax is preset (see also document category configuration).
• Tax Rate: By entering a numerical value in this field, the percentage of the sales tax is defined.
• Active: Here you can mark the salex tax active.
• VAT successor/predecessor: Here you can see the former sales tax and the following.
